Overall, the sentiment towards the game 'Going Medieval' is largely positive, driven by charming medieval aesthetics and engaging building mechanics. Players value the developer responsiveness and anticipate further updates to enrich gameplay. However, the game is criticized for performance issues during intense operations and AI pathing problems, which detract from the overall experience. The lack of depth in colonist interactions and long-term objectives presents a mixed reception, with players wishing for more innovation beyond its Rimworld inspiration. Those looking for a polished, finished product might find its current state lacking, despite the promise it holds.
