The general sentiment highlights engaging combat mechanics and a visually appealing world where players can enjoy meaningful character progression. However, performance issues and repetitive gameplay detract from the overall experience. The pivot from a planned MMO to a single-player/co-op model received mixed feedback, with players appreciating the removal of microtransactions but noting it led to some incoherence in game design.

Positive Points

The game features a vibrant art style and environment design that many players found visually appealing.

Combat mechanics are engaging and allow for a variety of playstyles due to multiple character and weapon types.

The narrative and world-building provide a backdrop that many players found enjoyable even if story delivery was not the game's strongest aspect.

Multiple players praised the game for its cooperative playability, noting it is more fun with friends.

The removal of microtransactions was seen as a significant improvement, allowing players to earn everything in-game.

Negative Points

Performance issues, particularly stuttering and poor optimization, were frequently mentioned, negatively affecting the gameplay experience.

Some players found the gameplay repetitive, especially with dungeons and bosses requiring multiple replays.

The story and character development were described as lackluster, with too much dialogue that didn't engage players.

Mixed Points

The character and weapon systems allowed for customization, though some players felt it was limited and only impacted basic stats.

While many found the core gameplay loop fun, others felt it lacked depth and could become monotonous over time.

Common Themes

The game experienced a shift from an intended MMO to a more contained single-player/co-op experience, which some players found to be both a positive and a negative.

Overall, there is a strong sentiment of appreciation for the developers in turning the game around post-launch despite initial struggles.
