Despite these, the game's engaging nature is evident, keeping players coming back with its addictive and refined mechanics.

Positive Points

ULTRAKILL features fast-paced and intense gameplay that players find extremely engaging.

The game's challenging mechanics, including bosses and P-Ranking system, offer a satisfying sense of accomplishment.

Its retro-inspired graphics and soundtrack blend well with modern mechanics, providing a unique aesthetic experience.

The game runs well on lower-end hardware, allowing a wider audience to enjoy it without high system demands.

Players appreciate the creativity and depth in weapon mechanics, offering multiple ways to approach combat.

Negative Points

Some players experience significant lag and performance issues, particularly in the 'Fraud' levels.

The game can be overwhelming due to its high difficulty, potentially frustrating new or casual players.

Early access status means parts of the game are incomplete, missing features, or have gameplay affecting bugs.

There are complaints specifically about the difficult navigation and unexpected elements in levels 8-2 and 8-3.

Mixed Points

The fanbase's interest in character interactions and humor can be divisive, being entertaining for some and off-putting for others.

While the game's demanding nature is praised by some for its challenges, others see it as a barrier.

Common Themes

A recurring theme is the game's addictive nature, causing players to lose track of time due to its engaging gameplay loop.

The style meter system drives players to try for creativity in their gameplay to achieve higher ranks.

A consistent mention is the engaging lore interwoven with the gameplay, adding depth to the experience.
