Very Positive(84%)

The overall sentiment around 'Diplomacy is Not an Option' is positive for its engaging RTS and tower defense mechanics, aesthetic style, and unique humor. However, difficulty concerns and challenges with management can dampen the experience for some players. The campaign's branching paths and modes like sandbox add depth, yet technical issues such as crashing and repetitive elements can impede enjoyment. While the core loop is fun and strategic, the steeper difficulty curves could leave casual RTS fans behind.

Negative Points

Many players find the game difficult, even on the easiest difficulty setting, which can lead to frustration.

Some reviews mention issues with unit management and pathfinding which can affect gameplay negatively.

The game can feel repetitive due to the lack of variety in unit types and the need for repetitive strategies to succeed.

There are some technical issues mentioned, such as game crashes during large battles, which detracts from the experience.

Mixed Points

While some players appreciate the challenge, others find the difficulty spikes too steep and demotivating.

The humor in the game is enjoyable for some but falls flat or is overdone for others.

Common Themes
