The general sentiment around 'Still Wakes the Deep' is that it excels in atmosphere and voice acting, creating a compelling and immersive horror experience. However, some players felt let down by the short duration and linear gameplay, which limited replayability. While appreciated for its narrative and emotional depth, the game is not without technical issues and simplistic mechanics. Overall, it's recommended for those who prioritize story and atmosphere in horror games, but not for those seeking challenging gameplay.
