Despite this, the game's potential and developers' commitment to updates keep players hopeful and invested in its future development.

Positive Points

The game offers a captivating management/simulation experience set in the 1930s, with an engaging premise of running a newspaper empire.

Players praise the art style and music, which effectively capture the era's ambiance and enhance immersion.

The game successfully implements a satisfying gameplay loop that keeps players returning for 'just one more week'.

Many reviewers appreciate the depth and gradual introduction of mechanics, which maintain interest and engagement over extended play sessions.

The historical context and use of real events add educational value and depth to the storytelling.

Negative Points

Some players find the late game becomes repetitive, with a lack of variety or new challenges to maintain engagement.

The UI and management of resources can be cumbersome, particularly the handling of 'old news' and prioritization of tasks.

There are occasional issues with pathfinding and the efficiency of elevators, which can affect gameplay flow.

Certain mechanics, like the hidden agendas and their completion, are sometimes seen as too dependent on RNG, leading to frustrating playthroughs.

Mixed Points

The balance between managing the newspaper's business aspects and storytelling elements receives both praise and criticism from players.

Players have mixed feelings about the difficulty level, with some finding it too easy once systems are understood, while others appreciate the relaxed pace.

Common Themes

The game's setting in 1930s New York and its integration of historical events is consistently highlighted as a strength.

Management and strategic decision-making are central to the player's experience, with an emphasis on optimizing newspaper production and staff efficiency.

There is a shared enthusiasm for the game's potential, with many players looking forward to future updates and full release content.
