The reviews of the game show a positive sentiment towards the art style, multiplayer experience, and the engaging strategy elements. However, players have expressed criticism around the UI and UX, as well as technical issues like bugs and multiplayer connectivity problems. The game's reliance on RNG has received both praise and criticism for adding unpredictability and frustration. Overall, while the additions and expansions are seen as positive, the game is perceived as not fully capturing the charm and fluidity of its predecessor. It's regarded as a strong co-op experience but with notable areas for improvement.
