The general sentiment is mixed; players recognize the game's potential and appreciate its unique art style, but many are frustrated with bugs and criticize the repetitive and uninspired quests. The combat system is a significant point of contention, being praised by some for its challenge and criticized by others for clunkiness and lack of balance. Overall, players see potential for growth, but highlight the need for fixes and additional content.

Positive Points

The game has a unique art style that blends retro pixel graphics with modern 3D environments, which appeals to fans of classic RPGs.

The combat system, which incorporates directional attacks and blocking similar to Mount & Blade and Dark Souls, is praised for being engaging and challenging, particularly for those familiar with the genre.

Fans appreciate the potential in the game's open world and RPG elements, particularly the freedom to explore and complete quests at one's own pace.

Negative Points

Many reviewers mention significant bugs that impact gameplay, including issues with enemy behavior, quests not working properly, and NPCs behaving erratically.

The game is criticized for its repetitive quests and lack of meaningful content, with many towns and quests feeling cloned and uninspired.

Directional parrying and blocking are considered clunky, especially for mouse and keyboard users, leading to a frustrating combat experience.

Mixed Points

The game's potential is frequently mentioned, with players seeing the bones of a great RPG experience but noting that it needs more polish and content to fully realize its vision.

Some players find the challenging combat rewarding, whereas others experience it as too difficult or poorly balanced, especially with the stamina management system.

Common Themes

The game's art style is frequently highlighted as a standout feature, drawing comparisons to old-school RPGs.

There is a clear division among players regarding the difficulty and fairness of the combat system.

The potential for the game to grow into something special is a recurring sentiment, but it is often tempered by frustrations with current bugs and lack of content.
