The general sentiment from players about the game is a mix of enthusiasm and frustration. While there is significant praise for the concept and the game's potential, the current state of the game is hampered by severe bugs and performance issues, as well as a tedious progression system that some players find rewarding but others see as a chore. Many are hopeful for future updates but acknowledge that the game is not yet ready for everyone.

Positive Points

Many players appreciate the concept of a mobile base in the form of an airship, allowing for creative freedom and exploration without being tied to a fixed location.

The game offers a beautiful graphical style with notable atmospheric music, providing an immersive experience.

Combat is considered fun and engaging, with mechanics that go beyond typical block-building games, incorporating elements of parrying and weapon variety.

The community and developer interaction is praised, with developers being receptive to feedback and quickly implementing updates.

Negative Points

Players report significant frustration due to game-breaking bugs, such as losing all progress or getting ships stuck, which hampers the overall experience.

The game suffers from severe performance issues, including frequent crashes and frame drops, especially when generating new islands.

The crafting and resource management systems are criticized for being confusing and tedious, with a lack of clarity on progression and crafting recipes.

Multiplayer functionality is limited by a tether system that restricts player movement and progression, creating an unsatisfactory co-op experience.

Mixed Points

The game is praised for its potential and the uniqueness of its airship feature, but many feel that it lacks sufficient content and variety, which impacts long-term engagement.

While some enjoy the game's early access state and the opportunity to see it evolve, others find the current lack of direction and incomplete features off-putting.

Common Themes

The concept of flying ships and floating islands is consistently highlighted as a refreshing and unique element in the genre.

Many players frequently compare the game to Minecraft, often describing it as a more adventurous or RPG-like version, but with its distinct identity.

Community involvement with the game is strong, with many players actively following updates and engaging with the developers to report bugs and suggest improvements.

The need for more quality of life improvements, such as easier block rotation, crafting from chests, and better inventory management, is a common request.
