Overall, fans of BlazBlue and roguelike games are likely to find it engaging and satisfying, though certain elements like the story and multiplayer experience might not meet everyone’s expectations.

Positive Points

The game offers a highly engaging and fluid combat system, often compared to titles like Dead Cells and Hades, which players find to be addictive and satisfying.

There is a wide variety of characters, each with unique playstyles and move sets, adding depth and replayability to the game.

The game's visual style is praised for its gorgeous animations and effects that enhance the overall action experience.

Many players appreciate the implementation of BlazBlue characters and how their moves and styles are faithfully translated into the roguelike format.

Negative Points

Performance issues are noted, with frequent stutters and freezes reported by some players, potentially disrupting the gameplay experience.

The story and narrative elements are considered weak by some, not deeply tied to the BlazBlue universe despite using its characters.

There are complaints about the limited stage and enemy variety, leading to a repetitive experience over multiple runs.

Multiplayer mode, particularly coop, is criticized for being unplayable at high ping due to poor netcode.

Mixed Points

The difficulty and progression of the game are polarizing, with some players finding it well-balanced and others feeling it either too punishing or too easy.

DLC pricing and content are debated, with some players feeling that character DLCs are overpriced while others appreciate the additional content they offer.

Common Themes

Players frequently draw comparisons to games like Dead Cells and Hades, praising the game's roguelike elements and combat fluidity.

The combination of fighting game mechanics with roguelike progression is highlighted as a unique and appealing feature.

The game’s aesthetic and art style receive consistent praise for their visual appeal and stylish execution.
