The general sentiment among reviewers is overwhelmingly positive, with improved graphics, enhanced gameplay, and nostalgic elements being highly praised. However, there is a some criticism of the new voice acting, with some players opting to turn it off and expressing a desire for the option to play the original game. There was also a mixed reaction to the addition of costumes, which some players grew to like over time. Overall, the game is viewed as a masterful remaster of a beloved classic.
