Players are generally enthusiastic about the unique blend of Tetris, deck-building, and rogue-like elements, finding the game addictive and satisfying. However, there are significant concerns with RNG elements and insufficient explanations for some mechanics, and the meta-progression system receives mixed responses for its necessity and impact on the game's difficulty and variety. Despite these issues, the game is praised for its art style and strategic depth.

Positive Points

The game offers a unique and fresh combination of Tetris, rogue-like, and deck-building elements, which many players find addictive and engaging.

There is a high level of replayability due to the variety of factions, cards, and strategic possibilities. Players appreciate the strategic depth and the challenge of optimizing their board and deck.

The art style and presentation are praised for being visually appealing and fitting well with the game's medieval theme.

The game introduces new mechanics and elements at a good pace, keeping players engaged and offering new challenges as they progress.

Negative Points

Some players find that the RNG elements can be frustrating and lead to unfair losses, particularly when critical pieces or cards are drawn late or in the wrong order.

The game's tutorial and explanations for some mechanics are considered insufficient, leaving players confused about certain aspects initially.

There are complaints about the progression system, especially regarding how unlocking new content can dilute the pool of cards, making it harder to build effective decks.

A few reviews mention performance issues, such as game crashes or poor optimization, particularly on certain systems or the Steam Deck.

Mixed Points

The meta-progression system is seen as both a positive for providing long-term goals and a negative for requiring players to grind for important upgrades.

The boss battles are viewed as a unique challenge but can be seen as disproportionately difficult compared to other parts of the game.

The game's blend of different mechanics makes it innovative, but not all players enjoy the combination, especially those with expectations based on traditional Tetris gameplay.

Common Themes

The addictive and satisfying nature of the gameplay loop, particularly the strategic placement of pieces and the progression system.

The uniqueness and creativity of combining Tetris with a rogue-like deck-builder, which provides a fresh gaming experience.

The need for an undo button and better explanations or tooltips for some of the game's mechanics and elements.

Mixed feelings about the RNG component, with some players enjoying the challenge it adds and others finding it frustrating.
