Overall, player sentiment towards the game leans positively. Many players express enthusiasm for the vibrant graphics, nostalgic references, and incredible soundtrack that pays homage to the Scott Pilgrim universe. However, the sentiment is marred by major issues with bugs and progression blockers that some players encounter, detracting from the experience. Additionally, while some appreciate the RPG and adventure elements integrated into the traditional beat-em-up format, others feel that these additions make the game unnecessarily complex. Despite these issues, fans of the series are generally pleased with the content, even though some wish for more extensive gameplay and content.
