The reviews reflect a sentiment of nostalgia and affection for Fable Anniversary, particularly among those who played the original. However, players have expressed frustration with technical issues and outdated gameplay elements, especially the control and camera systems. While praised for its charm and humor, the game struggles with simplistic combat and moral systems that show their age. Despite these criticisms, the game's engaging world and storyline continue to captivate its audience.
