The general sentiment around this game is overwhelmingly critical of the monetization strategy, with comparisons to Fall Guys highlighting its derivative nature while also noting the unique Sonic-themed elements. On the positive side, many players enjoy the game for its casual fun and nostalgic charm, with praise for its soundtrack and visuals. However, the gameplay is seen as simple, catering to those looking for short bursts of entertainment, and the intrusive and expensive microtransactions are a significant deterrent for many.
