technical issues

The general sentiment towards the game is positive, with many players appreciating its art style and soundtrack as well as its fun and addictive gaming experience. However, there are technical issues and balance problems that need attention. Players express mixed feelings about the depth of gameplay and difficulty mechanics. Overall, players acknowledge that the game offers great value for money and see potential for improvement with future updates.

Positive Points

The game's art style and visuals are widely praised, with many players appreciating the charming and appealing pixel artwork.

The soundtrack is frequently highlighted as exceptional, with adrenaline-pumping music that matches the game's aesthetic and enhances the gameplay experience.

Players enjoy the strategic depth and the variety of builds possible, thanks to different items and unit combinations that can be unlocked and experimented with during runs.

The game is described as being addictive, with a rewarding gameplay loop that encourages players to try 'just one more run'.

The accessibility options that allow players to turn off screen shake and other effects are appreciated by the community.

Negative Points

There are significant technical issues, such as game freezing and bugs, particularly during longer runs which hinder gameplay.

Several characters and builds feel weak or unbalanced compared to the default options, leaving players feeling unrewarded for experimenting with different playstyles.

Some players find the difficulty timer mechanic frustrating, as it pressures them to rush through levels rather than focus on strategic play.

The game has been criticized for having limited build options due to repetitive stat-based item drops, which can make gameplay feel monotonous.

Mixed Points

While some players praise the game's casual and easy-to-understand mechanics, others find the gameplay lacks depth and meaningful decision-making.

The 'come to me' mechanic for minion management receives mixed feedback; some find it awkward and cumbersome to manage, while others don't find it significantly impacts their experience.

Common Themes

The game combines elements from other popular games like 'Vampire Survivors' and 'Diablo II's' Necromancer class, which attracts fans of those genres.

Despite its flaws, many players agree that the game offers good value for its price, especially when on sale.

The game is considered to have potential for future growth, with many hoping for updates or DLC to expand content and address current issues.
