The general sentiment among reviewers is that Eversiege offers a unique and enjoyable blend of MOBA, tower defense, and roguelite genres, which is particularly appealing to solo players who enjoy strategic gameplay without the competitive stress of PvP. However, the game's multiplayer progression issues and lack of a mid-run save feature significantly impact the multiplayer experience. Additionally, performance and optimization issues are prominent, leaving room for improvement in both gameplay mechanics and technical execution. While many players are excited about the game's potential, they acknowledge that it currently feels like an Early Access title requiring further development and polish.

Positive Points

The game offers a unique blend of MOBA, tower defense, and roguelite elements, providing a fresh and enjoyable gameplay loop that appeals to fans of these genres.

Players praise the game's replayability and the fun of experimenting with different builds, characters, and strategies.

Many reviewers enjoy the single-player experience, highlighting that it provides the MOBA experience without the toxicity of online PvP settings.

The game's concept and design echo the nostalgia of popular Warcraft 3 custom maps, which is appealing to many players.

Negative Points

Multiplayer progression is a significant issue, with only the host getting progression, leading to dissatisfaction among players looking for a cooperative experience.

The game lacks a mid-run save feature, meaning players lose progress if they can't complete a session in one sitting, which is a source of frustration.

Performance issues are noted, including crashes, lag, and heavy GPU usage even on high-end systems, detracting from the overall experience.

Some players feel that certain gameplay mechanics, like controls and combat targeting, are clunky, which impacts fluid gameplay.

Mixed Points

While many appreciate the game's challenging gameplay, some find it overly difficult due to punishing mechanics and lack of balance between characters and enemies.

The game's graphics and sound design receive mixed reviews, with some enjoying the art and voiceover, while others criticize the audio as monotonous and graphics as poorly optimized.

Common Themes

The nostalgia for older custom games from Warcraft 3 is a recurring theme, with many players comparing Eversiege to those classic experiences.

There's a strong desire for improvements in Cooperative gameplay, with players wanting better progression sharing and more stable online play.

Feedback indicates a need for continued development, with hopes for more heroes, abilities, and deeper content updates.
