The general sentiment about RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is mixed but leans positively. Fans of the original game appreciate the consistent RoboCop action and storyline, including the aesthetic nod to 80s Detroit and familiar combat mechanics. However, the game suffers from significant technical issues such as crashes and stuttering. There is a general consensus that while the content is pleasing, it doesn't present any substantial new innovations over the original game. Overall, die-hard RoboCop fans will likely enjoy the experience, though potential buyers are advised to wait for patches or discounts due to the technical flaws.

Positive Points

The game offers more of the same satisfying RoboCop combat that fans enjoyed in Rogue City.

There are new elements introduced, such as cinematic environment kills, weaponry, and updates to the upgrade system.

The graphics are praised for being impressive, especially considering the game's AA studio origins.

The DLC is an excellent addition for RoboCop fans, capturing the 80s Detroit aesthetic well and offering nostalgic value.

The gameplay is noted for being engaging with solid gunplay and atmospheric story elements.

Negative Points

Players report numerous technical issues, including crashes, stuttering, and memory leaks.

Some players found the game to be too short, and recommend buying it at a discounted price.

There are criticisms about the AI, which some reviewers described as 'dumb' or easy to predict.

The game is said to be resource-heavy without significant graphical improvements, leading to performance concerns on various systems.

Language support issues, such as the absence of Japanese language support, were noted.

Mixed Points

While many fans appreciate the expansion for staying true to the original, some feel it lacks innovation and offers 'more of the same' without significant changes.

The game's difficulty level is seen as both a challenge and a potential frustration for some players tempted by nostalgia.

Audio and sound effects have been mentioned as inconsistent; opinions vary on whether they add or detract from the experience.

The focus on lore and adhering to the RoboCop mythos is appreciated, though some feel it can occasionally be too predictable.

Common Themes

The DLC's dedication to preserving the spirit of RoboCop and its 80s themes was frequently highlighted.

Bugs and technical issues are a recurrent topic, emphasizing the need for patches and improvements.

A strong, ongoing demand exists for further expansions or similar branded games, such as a Judge Dredd game.

Many players appreciate the standalone nature allowing new users to enjoy without buying previous entries.
