Overall, the reviews suggest that Colony Survival is a fun and engaging colony management game that combines building, strategy, and automation elements. However, players express concern over its price point relative to the content offered. The game is often compared to Minecraft which brings various expectations for graphics and gameplay depth. Despite some critical feedback on controls and tutorial, the sentiment is largely positive due to the developers' consistent updates and the creative freedom the game allows.
