The general sentiment around the game is mixed, leaning towards negative due to issues with heavy monetization, repetitive gameplay, and time gating that limits player freedom. Though players appreciate the visuals and character customization, the story and auto-combat features do not meet all expectations. The community has a mix of friendly and toxic elements, with issues around gatekeeping and elitism affecting player experiences. Casual gameplay is possible and enjoyable for those not aiming for endgame content, but significant improvements are needed to address current criticisms.

Positive Points

Players appreciate the game's beautiful anime-inspired graphics and character customization options which allow for personal expression.

The combat system is action-paced, offering smooth and engaging gameplay with satisfying mechanics, particularly those involving raids.

The game is considered fun and casual-friendly, with many players enjoying the social aspects and the ability to play casually without heavy time commitments.

The reclaim system and catch-up mechanics allow players who miss days to keep up with others, reducing the fear of falling behind.

Negative Points

The game has been criticized for its excessive monetization, including multiple currencies and a strong pay-to-win aspect which makes progression feel slow without spending money.

Many players feel the game is plagued by repetitive and tedious gameplay loops, with a lack of meaningful content especially at endgame.

Time gating is a significant issue, with many aspects of the game being locked behind daily and weekly limits, frustrating players who want to play more or catch up quickly.

The social aspects are marred by a toxic and gatekeeping community that often excludes lower ability score players from participating in group content.

Mixed Points

The game's story and narrative receive mixed reviews; while some find it engaging, others criticize it for being bland and unoriginal.

Auto-combat features are divisive; some appreciate the convenience, while others feel it undermines the experience and encourages lazy gameplay.

The balance of classes and available content is both praised and critiqued, with some players enjoying the different classes and raids, while others see them as unbalanced and limited.

Common Themes

The competitive nature of the gameplay is both a draw and a deterrent, with ability scores and gear being key, but creating a barrier for newer or casual players.

Cosmetics and character customization are important to many players, with both praise for design and frustration at the monetization of these elements.

Server issues and technical limitations, such as high ping and the lack of server regions, impact many players' enjoyment, especially those outside North America and Asia.
