The general sentiment among reviewers is one of frustration and disappointment, primarily due to the game's predatory monetization and aggressive paywalls. While many acknowledge the refined gameplay mechanics and improved graphics, these aspects are overshadowed by complaints about the Battle Pass system and the pay-to-win structure. Long-time fans are particularly disheartened by the shift towards a monetization-heavy model, which detracts from the potential enjoyment of what could otherwise be a top-tier wrestling experience. Ultimately, the game is viewed as a mixed bag, with its strengths in visuals and game variety overshadowed by its money-centric design.
