The game is mostly praised for its faithful adaptation of the Dragon Ball Z series, providing a nostalgic experience for fans. Players appreciate the beautiful graphics and epic storylines, although some feel the combat is repetitive and lacks depth. There are also significant crashes and technical issues that disrupt gameplay, and while some enjoy the DLCs, others find them expensive. Overall, fans of Dragon Ball will likely enjoy the immersive world, but newcomers might be put off by the repetitiveness and technical problems.

Positive Points

The game is highly praised for its nostalgia factor, accurately capturing the essence of the Dragon Ball Z saga from the anime.

Players enjoy the detailed storytelling that covers major arcs like Saiyan, Frieza, Cell, and Buu sagas, providing a comprehensive Dragon Ball Z experience.

The graphics and animations are well-received, with many players noting the beautiful recreation of iconic scenes and characters.

Fans appreciate the inclusion of various open-world elements, such as flying around iconic locations and engaging in side quests that add depth to the Dragon Ball universe.

The game's combat and RPG mechanics, while simple, are generally found to be fun and engaging, with rewarding progression systems.

Negative Points

Crashes and technical issues, like frequent 'fatal error' crashes, are a significant concern for players, negatively impacting the gaming experience.

The game is criticized for having repetitive combat and a lack of depth in its fighting mechanics, making it feel monotonous over time.

Some players feel the side quests are uninspired, often consisting of fetch quests that don't add much to the overall experience.

There's criticism regarding the game's DLC model being too costly, with some content feeling like it should have been part of the base game.

Mixed Points

The game's challenging nature and grind for progression are seen as both a positive and a negative, depending on player preference.

While the game provides a faithful retelling of the Dragon Ball Z story, some feel it glosses over significant moments or lacks the emotional impact of the original series.

Common Themes

Nostalgia is a strong theme, as the game heavily appeals to those who grew up with Dragon Ball Z.

The storytelling and animation accuracy to the original anime are consistently highlighted as major strengths.

Repetitiveness in gameplay and technical issues are common points of criticism among players.
